September 2008

In August, we had guest teachers who shared their love and talent with our children. We had so much fun! Thank you to Marnie & Kevin McLellan (Go Green & Recycle); George Cerny (wooden freighter kits); Patrick Herron (puppets); Valerie Berto (rock painting); and Sue Arth (fingerprint creatures).

Coming in September, we will be welcoming our children back from summer vacation.

On Sunday, September 28, I will be leading the Sunday Intergenerational Worship Service and Rally Day Celebration. We’ll have lots of fun celebrating our spiritual community, which includes our children.

Coming in October, Saturday, October 25 will be our Halloween Fun Shop. Children of all ages are welcome. Children 5 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. We begin at 10:00 am with crafts and games. Lunch will be at noon with Rev. Peggy as our guest. Please pick up your children by 12:30 pm. I will need 3-4 volunteers to help. See me if interested. A fun time is guaranteed!

Thank you. We are growing! Last year we were regularly serving 20 children per Sunday. God only knows how many will grace us this year. YIPPEE! Our Uniteen group will start up again with Mark Robinson as the leader. I hope to build a leadership team for this group. Interested? Please see me for information.
