A COURSE IN MIRACLES --
Tuesdays, 6:30 p.m.
A new class to study A Course in Miracles is
being facilitated by Collette Beauchamp. This will be an ongoing class
where we can study the Course and share our insights. If you need a text,
please contact the church and we will order one for you.
Meditation -- Wednesdays, 6 p.m. (except Oct. 29 -- see Toning Circle Meditation on Oct. 29 below)
Choir Practice

Sundays, 9:30 a.m.
Church choir members meet before service at 9:30 am to practice for their
once-a-month performance. Choir Director Micki LePla invites you to join
the choir at any time.
Recovery Seekers Alcoholic's Anonymous meeting -- Thursdays, 5:30 p.m.
Grief Support Group
-- Tuesdays, 7 p.m.
This group is on hiatus, to meet as the need arises. If you desire support in
periods of grief and loss, please contact Reverend Peggy at the church office.

Monthly Ladies Lunches
at 12 p.m. Fridays Next luncheon: TBA A monthly get-together. Healthy lunch provided, but you must RSVP in advance. Call or sign up at the church. The event features lunch and a little program. Hostesses rotate each month. |
MARS AND VENUS ON A DATE
Beginning Oct. 1,
Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Sandy Quintano will facilitate a 4 week class based on Dr. John Gray’s Book,
Mars and Venus on a Date. Sandy has been personally trained by the author to
teach this material. Participants will learn how to find the right person to
date, how to bring out the best in their partner, how to create intimacy,
and how to “make up” so there is no “break up.” Finding a soul mate takes
insight, education and lots of practice. With support and ability, everyone
looking for the “happily ever after” can make their dream a reality. Couples
may pick up some tips as well. The suggested love offering is $20 per class.

Earth Care Ministry team workshop

Toning Circle Meditation and
Workshop
Wednesday, Oct. 29
6:30 to
9:30 p.m.
Special
guest Lauren Lane Powell do a toning circle meditation and workshop. She
will bring with her
singing bowls. We are very lucky to be able to have her. Please
plan to come and bring friends with you. She requests a $25 love
offering but "no one will be turned away". We will not have our regular
meditation time that evening.
We are creating a prayer
group, following the Mastermind principles
for our
church to hold prayers of health, prosperity and growth. This will be set
this up as a bridge call. This means that it is a toll call for you but it
will not cost the church. If you have free long distance, you won't pay
anything. If you want to be part of this group, contact Rev. Peggy and give
me some options for times of call. This will be a weekly call so plan on a
time that you can commit to.

Our
youth director, Carol Willis, is looking for teacher's
to help with the children's lessons. If your heart is
responding even a little, please talk with her or Rev.
Peggy about this rewarding ministry. Training is
available.
